The Vanguard is a Legendary Ranged Weapon in Unturned 3 in the map France. It uses the 20 Gauge Shells by default, which holds up to 8 Shells (6 Pellets), the gun takes up 10 (5x2) slots in the inventory.

Overview:

When compared to the Bluntforce, the Vanguard is a direct upgrade. It has higher range, substantially higher fire rate, better ADS recoil and identical damage for the price of minimally higher base recoil. The only real downside of the Vanguard is the low capacity in relation to its fire rate, limiting its crowd control capabilities.

Acquirement:

France: The Vanguard can be obtained at Deadzone Node.

Analysis:

Advantages:

• High damage.
• Moderately high fire rate.
• High range for shotguns.
• Takes all attachments except for barrel attachments.

Disadvantages:

• Substantial recoil.
• Very rare.
• Has a slight draw sound upon equipping it, potentially giving away your position for stealth operations, similar to a PDW.
