Hey, I just wanted to know what you guys thought were the top 10 best guns. Provide reasonable support and please no flame wars.
Also, please exclude the bows and melee, as they aren't guns, and exclude all shotguns as they are not very reliable. And treat the Matamorez like an assault rifle, not a sniper.
My personal opinion:
1. Fusilaut - Burst mode of 16.66 repeated RPS, pretty decent capacity on drums, and better than military on magazines. 43 damage (second highest assault rifle damage, along with the Nightraider and Augewehr) (To clarify, the highest assault rifle damage is the Matamorez's 70 damage), decent accuracy, great durability, high range, and can take all attachments.
2. Nightraider - I've tested it in game and I've decided to add this to the list even though it has more recoil and is less accurate than the Maplestrike. Otherwise they're pretty much the same, but this has a base damage of 43 compared to 40. For those of you complaining about the low capacity of the ranger drums, no one should really ever need more than 75 bullets, unless taking out a group.
3. Eaglefire - Burst mode of 12.5 RPS, high capacity on drums, and quite decent enough on magazines, high damage, high fire rate, high accuracy, decent durablity, high range, and can take all attachments.
4. Maplestrike - Exactly the same as the Eaglefire, but with no burst firemode and full auto. This has 10 RPS full auto, so in some cases, it may actually be better than the Eaglefire.
5. Honeybadger - Decent range, high damage, very high fire rate, decent accuracy, not too bad durability, internally suppressed, you can use it underwater, and high capacity. Only downsides are the fact it can't take barrel attachments because it's internally suppressed, and the fact that most assault rifles beat it out in range, accuracy, and durability.
6. Matamorez - High damage, decent range, high accuracy (when aiming), and it's internally supressed. Downsides are the fact it can't take barrel attachments, the firerate is bad, the hip inaccuracy is insane, the magazines are tiny, and the ammo is rare, and when full auto firing, the recoil is kinda bad.
7. Hell's Fury - Insane fire rate, pretty accurate, NO RECOIL, HUUUUUGE magazine, and decent range. Downsides to this are the low durability and the fact it's not really the most accurate. The gun itself also takes up a ton of room. Like more than the snipers.
8. Grizzly - High powered, semi automatic, long range. Downsides are the low clip size. It's better than the Timberwolf (please don't argue over this) because it is not bolt action, and that makes up for the 1 bullet less per clip.
9. Ekho - Same as Grizzly, but is bolt action and has 7 bullets/clip.
10. Bulldog - Insane fire rate, very accurate. Downsides are low damage. Very simple gun.
