I would reccomend having far more edits than you if you want admin. Probably a bit over 4,000 under your belt before even trying to do so. You should also use better grammar punctuation and spelling on any chat board before doing so. You have to prove yourself as mature and show knowledge on all types of editing and the subject its based on. Look at how many edits Yarrr has and he is not an admin. Being an administrator on a wiki is rather difficult work, I was one once, everyone always telling you to do something and if you do something wrong they will notice and think less of you. In the end I would try to go for the position for a while.
I am not joking, deathismad basically said to someone asking for admin a while back, you need a plethora of edits under your belt (It was mentioned to be about 4000) and even then he would have to consider depending on how trustworthy you seem and how you interact with other users. (Grammar is probably a very important part of being an admin.) Also a word of the wise, Do not ask for a very high position when applying for a staff position of any kind whether it is a server, a forum, or a real life position. I would recommend having way more edits under your belt and asking for a far lower position; A jr. chatmod perhaps?
