Temperature is a game mechanic in Unturned 3. Depending on the current situation, you may be afflicted with statuses.

- Freezing Status: Received when The Player is too cold. Causes Health to drop rapidly in bursts. Restricted to Snowy maps like Yukon.
- Cold Status: Received when The Player is becoming cold from being exposed to falling snow. Restricted to Snowy maps like Yukon.
- Sheltered Status: Received whenever The Player is protected from the falling snow. Restricted to Snowy maps like Yukon. Sheltered Status will only occur if the player is at Freezing Temperature. If the player has just left a Warm Status and moves into a building, the Cold Status will be achieved until the player cools down to Freezing temperature, and only then will the player receive the Sheltered Status.
- Warm Status: Received when The Player is being warmed by a Campfire or Oven.
- Burning Status: Received when The Player is standing directly inside a Campfire or Oven. Causes Health to drop rapidly in bursts.
