The Empty can is a common crafting material found in civilian areas. As a crafting material, it can be used to craft Landmines, Snares and Mufflers. Aside from this, it has no use, despite seeming that it could be used to can food.

1 Empty can + 2 Raw Explosives = Landmine
1 Empty Can + 2 Scrap Metal = 1 Snare
2 Empty cans + 2 Canned Colas + Fire = Muffler
1 Empty can + 1 Bottled Water = Canteen
Trivia
- The can is probably a used up canned food or drink with colors and lid missing, yet aren't yielded from canned foods and drinks when consumed.
- It used to be called "Empty Can" before the pre-steam update.
