    • It means replying to a comment that is long dead, typically over 30 days old, which technically "revives" it.  The problem with that is the whole chain is dead and should be forgotten about.

      It's considered basic ettiquite on forums to not reply to dead threads.

      Though on this wikia, only Atom Spark REALLY cares about necroposting. I only care if a necroposter is posting irrelevant information when reviving a dead chain of comments. (i.e. Posting information about a pistol on a comment chain about assault rifles that ended months previously)

      NOTE: The age of the last comment really doesn't matter if it's a whole line of comments, only the comment that started the chain does.
