Did you draw it based on your experiences with swimming through the bunker, or did you open the map up in the editor/devkit and move the bunker out of the ocean (or place the bunker in a separate world) and overlay your map on top of it?
One would be much more accurate than the other. Regardless, it looks nice.
As far as I know, it works for me, but I won't go back there myself. I consider some players there to be too condescending and snarky.
EDIT: The discord I'm talking about is the one for this wiki, and not the official Unturned discord.
So, i open unturned for the first time in 3 days, and i get about 4 GIFT PACKAGES and 2 regular stuff? I mean, does stuff normally get in your inventory, and if you dont use unturned for an ammount of time, does stuff randomly pop up in your inventory? Im just really confused if im really lucky or if its a glitch. Pls explain how cosmetics just randomly pop up in my inventory, im really confused
Okay, so Train is saying that the German variant of the Ambulance vehicle is actually to be referred to as the European variant. Can I get some confirmation on this, so I can edit the pages accordingly?
There is no official name for the German variant of the Ambulance besides "Ambulance". As far as game files go, it's Ambulance_German.
As far as official map usage goes, only the Germany map uses the German Ambulance. Curated maps are considered non-canon / extended-(or alternative)-universe.
Typically, variants are referred to based on their file name distinction as that's the closest "official" terminology available. However, sometimes it's been better to generalize if the filename is no longer easily applicable. For example, the German military clothing is distinguished in the files as "Russian" clothing except for the military top. In this case, it makes more sense for the wiki to have referred to the military variant as "olive" as it matches the forest/desert scheming and is less confusing to the reader.
So, there's nothing I can really confirm about it. "German" is the closest you can get to official terminology, and patch notes regarding Germany do refer to the emergency vehicles as "German variants". European is a broader and technically accurate term, but the only official European map that uses that variant is Germany.
b r u h take a big snoot and can it man. Whatever the description of the item is goes. If it says Canadian, its Canadian. If it says Russian, its Russian. Don't make a big fuss out of it lol. It's intentional game design.
So, for the California Rucksack item, I was curious to see what the page linked to, as it linked to a page upon the link creation. To my disappointment, it redirected me to the Spec Ops Rucksack page. Because of this, I am requesting that you make the Rucksack page an independent page. If you are able to do so, that would be great. Thanks!
So, I need to have confirmation that all items within Belgium use past tense in their information (e.g. is>was, can>could). I need confirmation, as there was a bit of an edit debate on Leistung Magazine on whether to use past or present tense. If you could respond as soon as possible, that would be appreciated. Thanks!
ok so swear filter off.Whom'st the fuck does care about more the tense that the verbs are at past tense or present tense or any other tense more than the information in the page.If they do that they are nitpicking and should be burned on a cross
Past-tense was used in the past when curations were still timed, and there was no easy way for a user to quickly know if something was still downloaded with the vanilla game. All curations are workshop downloads now, and as such are never past-tense because they're never "removed" from the game anymore.
The message box you see at the top of the linked article was also created to replace the role of past-tense usage. As such, all curation articles are in present-tense and templates do the heavy-lifting when it comes to where the content is available.
EDIT: Of course some curations maps (e.g., Bunker Arena) were created when timed curations were still a thing, but for consistency all those pages should follow present-tense.
