I've been somewhat less active around Christmas break, due to me being the relaxed guy I am (lol). Though, I have actually been gathering screenshots of weapons, clothes, and a few other things for the Ireland map, as I noticed that it is still missing quite a bit. I am only starting to be more active on the wiki again, as school has at last started up again. Upon returning from my hibernation, I am greeted by none other than more of Train's edits. Looking over his edits, there were some errors, but those minor errors I found were easily fixed, and they should be good to go. However, he did make some significant edits, notably to the ID List for items and vehicles, which did cause a bit of issues. Those major issues have already been addressed, so no need to worry about it. (I am not a glutton for punishment, I am just making it easier for you since you are already so busy.) I am just letting you know about this so you can take appropriate action (which is likely just a warning), as I don't want to escalate the situation.
Furthermore, I have already sent him a message regarding the edits, and ways that he can improve upon said edits. I know he isn't the best English speaker, and that he still can improve, so I just told him that he needs to slow down a bit and check over his work.
First off, welcome back. I hope your Xmas break was enjoyable. Despite my insisting that you don't take it upon yourself, you still decide to revert Train's edits absent of my help. A tad silly, but I suppose no harm was done. I have already come to a decision on the Traindudeo situation.
My holidays were great, but I don't get breaks like that anymore. :P
Honestly, I had nothing better to do than to work on the wiki. I work in the school library during my lunch period, so I usually work on the wiki to pass the time.
Also, while I'm at it, I tried to find the item inventory icons in the game files (which I accidentally learned how to access while I was trying to fix Unturned on my laptop), but couldn't find any of the France Item images. This still leaves me a bit puzzled on where to find them. Could you enlighten me a bit on where I may find them? (I know where the official item sprites are, just not the curated/ workshop item icons)
p.s. If you need me to update or edit any messed up/mostly empty pages, just pm me the pages that need work, and I'll be sure to get to them in my spare time. Thanks! =^D
Aight, so I was just checking up on train today as I have been doing recently (which I am getting a bit tired of doing) to make sure he hasn't screwed anything up. And sure enough, he has. Boy, did I have to work. (If you want to look at where this occurred, check the edit logs on Template:ID List/List/Item.) I have already fixed his "Significant" mess up, so there is no need to worry about that.
TL;DR: He broke a substantial amount of links to pages. I, being the nice and generous person that I am, had to go in and clean it up, because I do not want this kid to cause a wiki disaster. I am just letting you know of this, because I am afraid he may make another mistake such as this one, and was hoping you could help him out, or possibly keep an eye on him. (I previously gave him a small checklist of some basic things to do before making an edit, and from my perspective, it seems that it hasn't helped him.) If you could let him know about his mistake, and how he can prevent future mistakes, that would be great.
Also, I was considering on making an application to be an Unturned Bunker Wiki staff member, as I am quite active on the wiki, and would be glad to lend a hand in keeping the wiki community in check. Though, by all means, I do not intend to be an administrator at all, because only god knows how much stuff you, Yarrrr and Molt have to put up with. If you could get back to me regarding this, I will gladly type/write up my application, or be able to schedule an interview (depending on which one you prefer, if any). Hope you are having a fantastic day! =^D
Edit: I got in contact with Trainduduo, and we came to understanding of each other. We came up with a solution between the two of us, where I will review his edits before he posts them. This is because he is not very good with speaking English. (And before you say I am assuming, I am not assuming. He actually told me this. If you want to see the discord conversation we have, I will gladly send it to you.)
I looked over plenty of edits made by Train, and you're right about the editing mistakes. I have sent them a message about quality control and consistency with wiki standards.
You're more than welcome, encouraged actually, to let us handle multiple edits that are vandalism/widespread mistake. Unless you're a glutton for punishment, you're creating unneeded strain trying to fix what we can do rather easily. Just notify us of a to-do list of thinks you'd like deleted, reverted, etc, and we'll eventually get to it and fix the issue.
Please refer to this thread regarding staff selection. There is no application process, staff are chosen when they are believed to be the right one for a position, if any are needed.
I have been working on some pages and revamping them. That when I relieazed that many IDs wernt linked, sent to the wrong page, or so many other stuff. It been anyyoded and I wanted to change it and fix it. It would be nice if I can fix the ID list and there are items that dosen't have a page and other pages that need to be trasnfered. All I'm really asking if I can edit the ID List to fix a few problems and add a some links and the Rio Vehicles.
Aight train, I'll clarify 2 things regarding your message/request, just in case death is inactive for like a month:
1) If it is not linked to a page, be patient. If after some time there is no linked page, you can create a page to link it to. From there, that page can be edited and brought up to standards.
2) I know that the pages such as the Military Bottom for Rio link to the page for the standard military bottom page. If that happens, it's either 2 things:
The item is a re-skinned version of an existing item
The item does not exist yet (e.g. Navy Bottom) and links to a totally different page.
If it redirects you to a page unrelated to the item, then yes, do get hold of one of the admins to address the issue.
Now, I have previously got in contact with Deathismad regarding the missing California ID's on the ID list, and he told me everything I needed to know to update the list, and I did just that. And before you say anything about you being able to edit it too, I will say this. Editing something like a page on an item is not much of a big deal, though editing a page like the ID List is a whole different animal to tame. It can be quite tedious, and one tiny error could screw up the entire list, so there is lots of pressure under those edits to make sure everything is perfect. I do understand you want to help out the wiki very badly, though, before you try one of these, I suggest you edit other pages that are incomplete, or need to be updated to current wiki standards. If you need an example of a page to base your edits off of, feel free to look at the pages I have edited so far.
I hope you do understand what I'm saying, and I am not sure if you are ready for such a large scale edit just yet. Please do understand.

As long as you follow the format of the templates, go ahead and edit/fix whatever you're able to! Items without links can be clicked to create their respective page. Incorrect item IDs can be fixed on their respecive Template:ID List page.
If you make mistakes or need help, feel free to ask someone, staff included.
Hey death, I was making the page for the Stingray, and went to retrieve the item IDs. Apparently, there are no IDs on the ID List that correspond to the new items California adds. Could you look into this? Thanks!
Update: If needed, I can add in the items to the ID list myself, though I will need one of the ID's of the California items to start off from. (Just discovered how to edit the ID List)
Sorry for the wait. Here's a link to all the item IDs for California here.
Here's a more comprehensive guide from MoltonMontro, another wiki staff member:
If you navigate to the game folder, there is a "Bundles" folder that contains all of the item/vehicle/animal/object/etc. asset data. Asset data includes things like spawning IDs, damage values, crafting blueprints, how much health a consumable restores, and much more (depending on the item). When you're in the "Bundles" folder, you will see a bunch more folders that are categorized by asset type (e.g., Items, Vehicles, Effects) and if you open up the Items folder you'll see more folders categorized by item type (e.g., Food, Guns, Barricades). The actual item folders are inside those folders (e.g., Eaglefire, Medkit, Snowball). Open up the item folder, and then open up the corresponding .dat file with a text editor (such as Notepad++) and you'll see the asset data.
This is specifically using the global Bundles folder (the CoreMasterBundle) as an example. Some maps have their own Bundles folder, which can be found if you navigate to that map's folder (instead of entering ...\Unturned\Bundles..., you'd enter ...\Unturned\Maps\Bundles...). Curated maps are downloaded as Workshop maps, so to navigate to them you'll have to go through the Steam folder's Workshop directory (...\Steam\steamapps\workshop...) to enter the corresponding folder with the WorkshopID of the map, and then navigate to the Bundles.
Thanks a bunch man XD I will be sure to look into this
Also, expect to see a lot more activity from me. I had been sort of on a hiatus a few months ago, and I am starting to gain more edits. Been active on the wiki since France was active, and I don't plan to stop editing anytime soon.
(p.s. I am currently wanting to apply for moderator for the wiki. I tend to be someone who is strict about rules, and get bothered when someone breaks those rules, so I try my best to fix what I can. Being a moderator is great and all, though, I do understand that being a moderator comes with a lot of responsibilities. If you can get an application to me, I am in the discord server, so feel free to contatct me! I am quite active on the wiki, so I am constantly staying on top of things.)
Good News death! I have just published the updated ID List. Most of the pages either do not exist or link to an already created page (due to the item similarity and name), so please arrange for those pages to be created and/or edited. Thanks!
Hey death, it's me again. I just updated the Item ID page again, this time adding all Rio de Janero ID's. Almost all of the pages either do not exist, or already exist and are not updated since RdJ's release.
