1. The rucksack is the best backpack in terms of space, while the alicepack is the best backpack in terms of weight threshold. Both of these are very rare backpacks and can only be found in military locations.

2. Put a cot or a sleeping bag in a building, like a house or shop, if you haven't built your own home yet. Additionally, place your bed on a roof or in a tower, otherwise you may respawn near several zombies.

3. Build a crate, chest or locker to store necessary items that you don't need while scavenging, like tools.

4. Creating a server and disabling PvP will make cars unbreakable by other players including yourself. Also traps can be walked over and you will not lose any health. Port forwarding or Hamachi is not necessary for this tip.

5. A good way to earn good loot fast on singleplayer is to go to the military base, loot everything that seems desirable, and then climb up one of the towers and exit to the main menu. When you log back in, all loot and zombies will have respawned.

6. You can "farm" loot spots such as the Crashed Helicopter, the O'Leary Military Base as mentioned above, a specific Civil Service Building for its respective loot items by quitting the instance and logging back in.

7. A few of you may hear the term "Walker-Bombing", which is used in the popular zombie TV series The Walking Dead. This strategy involves attracting many zombies and leading them to an enemy base to help bring down barricades while simultaneously providing fire support for your "allies". This is a very useful PvP strategy as zombies are, well, not really that smart. They intend to obliterate anything and everything in their path, providing the attacked players quite a workout protecting their base while simultaneously hiding behind cover from your gunshots.

8. Best way to build a base is to build it in the Wiltshire Farm.It already has a gasoline tank,a well,a barn,and a house and a space for your vehicles and a farm too.

9. You can press left alt for voice chat. Note: Voice Chat is disabled by default.

10.Try not to disconnect in a town or military base, or you will have to deal with a massive zombie horde around you.

11. Zombies will chase you following in one direction only. (Please upgrade this, because I'm king of lacking on the sentence)

12. While using the Chainsaw, If you open your Inventory, the chainsaw will keep running/swinging, without the need of holding Left-Click.
