The Maplestrike is a uncommon assault rifle found at military locations. It uses Military Magazines and Military Drums, which can hold 30 and 100 rounds respectively.

Location

The Maplestrike can be found at the military base south of Alberta or the cargo plane near the abandoned manor, and possibly in the harbour at Vancouver.

Analysis

Advantages

  • The sight that it starts with can be very helpful for aiming.
  • The green parts help conceal it in grassy locations.
  • It can use two different types of magazines.
  • It can use any kind of attachment, making it very versatile and customizable.
  • It has the automatic firemode, unlike the Eaglefire.
  • It fires very fast.
  • Does moderately high damage per shot.

Disadvantages

  • Pretty loud when not silenced.
  • It is found in military locations, where dangerous military zombies are.

Trivia

  • The 2.0 maplestrike is very basic, being only a black block with a barrel and few details.
  • The Maplestrike is named after the maple leaf, appearing on the Canadian flag.
  • The Maplestrike is based off the Canadian C7A2.
    • It is commonly mistaken to be based off of the American M4 Carbine, and by extension the same as the Eaglefire, by many players. This is most likely due to the fact that the C7/C8 rifles that it is based on are both heavily influenced by the M4 carbine.
  • It is the third gun to use the military magazine in 3.0.
