The Maplestrike is a common assault rifle in Unturned found at military locations. It uses Military Magazines and Military Drums, which can hold 30 and 100 rounds respectively. It comes equipped with Maplestrike Iron Sights by default.

Location

The Maplestrike can be found at military locations such as Summerside Military Base, and at Confederation Bridge.

Analysis

Advantages

Iron sights are extremely versatile, as players are known to leave the gun and take the iron sights if no better scopes are available.
Olive drab helps with grass camouflage.
Allows use of all attachments, making it very versatile and customizable.
Can use all three firing modes.
Fast fire rate.
The Maplestrike inflicts a great amount of damage towards zombies and players alike, the same amount as the Eaglefire.
Common, easily being found at military locations.

Disadvantages

Loud when not silenced.
When in the inventory, it takes up a large amount space (8 slots).
High recoil.

Uses Military-grade ammunition.

Repair

The Maplestrike can be repaired by using 4 Metal Scraps and a Blowtorch. You need to have leveled up the Mechanic skill at least once to be able to repair the Maplestrike.

Trivia

The Maplestrike's design is heavily influenced by the Colt Canada (formerly Diemaco) C7 rifle and the Colt's Manufacturing Company M16 rifle.
The name Maplestrike refers to the maple leaf present on the Canadian flag.
Unlike other gun descriptions the Maplestrike does not state its place of origin but rather describes it as a 'Maplestrike' assault rifle.
