Hunger is a major contributor to survival in Unturned. The hunger bar begins at 0%, and will gradually increase over time. When the hunger meter reaches 100% the player's health will start to drain and they will eventually die of starvation unless they consume food. The hunger meter can be decreased by consuming any food item.
