Overview:[]
The Vonya deals high amounts of damage, but will be less reliable for one-shot kills than higher-damage shotguns. The combination of a moderate rate of fire and a decent magazine capacity makes the Vonya a fairly forgiving close-quarters weapon.
Trivia:[]
The Vonya is based on either the Vepr-12 or the Saiga-12. Arguments for the Vepr-12 are mostly the prior full-auto capability, but the two weapons are otherwise quite similar.
"Vonya" can be the transliteration of the Russian word "Ваня" from Cyrillic script to the Latin alphabet.
"Ваня" is a unisex diminutive of the Slavic given name "Ivan."
