The Anomaly 3

The Anomaly was a strange entity of unknown origin that resided in the lighthouse during the Unturned 3.0. in both PEI and Buak also in early beta versions of Unturned.

Overview[]

Unturned 3.0:[]

The Anomaly is seen as two glaring neon red eyes staring at the player for amount of duration, for any time at an unknown time at night.

Unturned 2.0:[]

The only seen part of the Anomaly is its two, glaring neon red eyes that are approximately the size of a player's head. The Anomaly's eyes will stare at the player for 2-3 seconds before vanishing during an unknown time at night.

The glowing eyes are only activated at a certain distance, making it invisible from a place far from the lighthouse.

Verification:[]

Unturned 3.0:[]

PEI: The Anomaly has been seen again from recorded videos posted on youtube by Witness Protection and TraindudeGaming.

Buak: ???

Russia: Several supposed sightings[1] have been uploaded to YouTube

Unturned 2.0:[]

The addition of the Anomaly sparked public interest within the community. Made up claims based on the Anomaly were rampant, such as being able to move around the map or killing players when up close (However there were no known instances of such events actually occurring in the game). Mysterious moments experienced in the game were usually linked to the anomaly by players as a joke.

Trivia[]

  • In version 2.2.5, the radio tower's flashing red light from a far distance was easily mistaken as the Anomaly by many players. However the only difference is that the tower only emits one red ball of light.
  • The Permanent Gold Upgrade DLC unlocks a pair of red eyes as a customization option for the player's face. Unlike other faces, this one features no mouth whatsoever.
  • As of the current version of Unturned, zombies during full moon have glowing red eyes referencing the Anomaly.
  • There is an obtainable Anomaly emote for use on Steam. Interestingly it is named ':anomaly7:', implying it has some form of connection with Scorpion-7.
