It is given to Players who played the game before the official release on Steam by using product keys to access the game.
Trivia:
- Along with the Gold Beret, it is the 2nd exclusive cosmetic item to be added into the game with the Debugger's Beret being added afterwards.
- Despite its rarity being Gold, it is not obtainable from the Permanent Gold Upgrade DLC where all items have the excusive Gold rarity. This also applies to the Gold Beret.
- It is likely based on the maroon berets which are the official headdresses of the elite Airborne forces of many armies.
