Generators are a barricade in Unturned 3. They are used to power objects such as Cagelights, Safezone Radiators, and other power-able objects. (e.g. Blast Doors, city light posts, traffic lights, vending machines, ATMs)
There are currently only two generators in the game, which can both be crafted.There is only one Generator in Classic. The Generator is used to power certain Barricades and Traps.
