The Armored Train was an Epic Train in Unturned 3. It is a completely invulnerable vehicle that is immune to all damage sources, similar to the Cargo Train.

Acquirement:[]

France: Can be found anywhere on the uninterrupted rail line running from Marseille to Port de Calais. More likely to be found closer to the deadzone end of the line.

Appearance:[]

The Armored Train has a full black color, with 4 mounted gun seats, with a single directional light on the top. It has the word "Vauban" on the front and back. There are also railings on both the front and back.

Advantages:[]

  • Has a very large storage.
  • Passengers are almost entirely safe from gunfire, only damageable via splash damage.
  • Invincible.
  • All passengers, aside from the driver, can use the mounted turrets on the train.
  • Front and back turrets can aim 270 degrees, while the side turrets can aim 180 degrees

Disadvantages:[]

  • Ammunition for turrets is rare.
  • Cannot be spawned.
  • Quite slow compared to the Cargo Train.
  • Poor acceleration.
  • Cannot deviate from the rail line.

Trivia:[]

  • It and the Cargo Train are the only 2 vehicles that are immune to all damage.
  • The Armored Train has the name "Vauban", as seen on the sides.
  • Although the train does not have a real life equivalent, the Vauban does have a real life equivalent, as a Commuter Train.
  • The "Vauban" in the name is a reference to Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban, a French Military Engineer.
